Ignition Lock Cylinder comes with 2 keys and installs into the steering column lock assembly. The lock cylinder does not turn the car on directly; it operates the ignition switch w hich sits below the steering column lock. If your key currently can be inserted into the lock assembly and can be twisted, your key and lock assembly are fine.
