From the sample room of a NY designer, this is a trendy stretch mesh (20% stretch in the width only), overprinted with a black and cream brushstroke abstract design. The fabric has honeycomb-like holes and a micro-crochet-like texture. I've photographed it on both black and white backgrounds to show both the print and the sheerness. It's just perfect as an overlay for a casual tee, top, tunic, dress or skirt. The fabric is lightweight but has some substance to it, and it's very drapey.
