This is a stunning Italian novelty weave wool woven from Milly, featuring a mix of yarns (varying thickness) woven through a black backing. It looks like a sweater knit, but it's w oven and stable with no stretch. The colors are brilliant royal purple-blue, pink, turquoise, yellow-green, dusty periwinkle and black (PANTONE 19-3850, 12-0642, 17-3919, 17-2625, etc.). It's medium-thick with lots of body to the drape, and was used by the designer as bodice inserts in the jacket pictured below (sleeves and trim are leather or faux leather).
