This is a custo m-painted version of the popular "BE-OD" pedal, which reproduces the drive sound of Friedman's flagship model "BE-100". The paintwork was designed by Amanda Mullins, a young female artist who has close ties with the FRIEDMAN team. She is an up-and-coming artist who has worked on various band logos, film art, book covers, and fashion designs. This custom-painted model has her name inscribed as the model name. The BE-OD, Dave Friedman's masterpiece stompbox, delivers an exquisite brown sound that you wouldn't imagine coming from a stompbox once you switch it on! With a three-dimensional, edgy sound that is unmistakably BE-100, it achieves the sound pressure and harmonically rich, extended sustain of a stack amp, making it a brown soundbox with overwhelming quality that won't get lost in a band ensemble. The built-in EQ allows for delicate tone control, enabling you to achieve everything from a saturated sound with boosted mids that closely resembles the BE-100, to a tight, highly responsive metal-style drive, all without compromising the sound balance. It features an internal gain trimmer, allowing you to adjust the gain level! Even at low gain settings, it produces an excellent sound, and you can even create legendary Plexi-style sounds—you'll be amazed by its meticulous craftsmanship. Furthermore, it pairs well with the JC amp, and will likely produce the sound you intend.
