The Small Box, one of Friedman's flagship amplifiers, is an all-tube amplifier that, while based on the circuits of the good old days, has been improved by Dave Friedman with a blend of tradition and innovation, allowing for flexible sound shaping. The newly released Small Box Overdrive inherits that sound, offering amp-like tones and intuitive tone controls, as well as the Structure switch found on Friedman amplifiers. The Structure switch changes the gain by altering the preamp bias. The Small Box Pedal also emulates this Structure switch, covering everything from vintage Plexi sounds to high-gain sounds. Show more
