This is an eye-catching and beautiful two-layer lace from a NY designer, a lyrical black lace backed with a white open mesh (see the closeup). Even though it is medium weight with a more firm drape it is still open and "see through" as both the lace and the mesh are sheer. It is perfect for a dressy jacket, topper coat, pencil skirt, sheath dress, etc. It has body in the drape and a cottony (not synthetic-feeling) hand.
