DESCRIPTION This beautiful two piece suit dates back to the 1940s and is of Swedish origin, produced by PG Ahlström in Stockholm. It is grey in colour and has a red windowpane pattern. The jacket has wide lapels and three buttons single closure. It has horizontal front pockets and one breast pocket. It has a plain back with no vent. The jacket is fully lined and has two inner pockets, one on each side. The trousers are very characteristic for the 1940s, they have tunnel loops, diagonal front pockets and are double pleated. They have a button fly with hook closure in top and they have a coin pocket with flap and button closure on the right side. They have buttons for braces and they have two back pockets, both with flap and button closure. They have turn ups. The overall condition of the suit is good considering its age, but it is not perfect. There is a stain on the lower part of the jacket and there is some discoloration in the lining, especially in the pockets. Please have a look at the images and evaluate the condition. SIZE The size of the jacket would best be described as a modern EU 46 (US/UK 36). The trousers are slightly larger, closer to a EU 48 (US/UK 38).
