The circa 1980 Electro-Harmonix Attack Decay is a prized possession among vintage pedal enthusiasts. The original Attack Decay was called Tape Reverse Simulator and could create vo lume swells, reverse tape sounds, artificial short staccato and string-like effects. The new Attack Decay reinterprets the original, keeping all the cool features while adding several modern features that make it more convenient and enhanced. In addition to generating a single volume envelope like the original, you can also turn polyphony on and play to add a separate volume envelope to each sound. The built-in Harmonic Fuzz is a distortion with Gain, Tone, and Volume controls. The built-in effects loop allows musicians and sound designers to place a volume envelope on whatever signal is input into the return jack. Expression pedal/CV input and three presets give you full control over the Attack Decay. - Volume envelope operation with adjustable attack/decay times - Mono mode: Set one volume envelope time and it will be reset when a new sound is input. - Polyphonic mode: The set envelope is applied to each input sound. - Built-in harmonic fuzz enhances volume envelope effects and creates string-like sounds. - The built-in effects loop allows you to insert your own pedals into the volume envelope.
