[V60 LP/Bridge Position] The V60 and V60LP, considered the flagship of the JST pickup series, faithfully reproduce the single-coil sound of the 1960s, which had the best sound character of the time. These pickups use the same magnets as pickups made during this era, giving you the bell-like clarity of high notes, warm and punchy mids, and big, powerful lows that are characteristic of great vintage pickups. While researching various vintage pickups, John Suhr discovered some pickups that simply sounded better than others. To find out why, he disassembled the pickups, counted the turns of the coil, and measured the gauss of the magnets. The V60LP reproduces not only the materials but also the hand-wound patterns of pickups produced in the early '60s, resulting in a sweet, rounded, and wonderfully toned high note.
