This results in a smoother sound compared to silver hooks. ***Changing the cross-sectional shape from "circular" to "semi-circular"*** Previously, our hooks had a circular (round bar) cross-section, but in order to pursue the ultimate balance between cost and performance, we created and tested numerous prototypes in various shapes, thicknesses, and even the orientation of the front and back sides. And that's how the new shape, with a cross-section shaped like a "kamaboko" (fish cake), was born. While it may seem like a simple change, the benefits this shape brought far exceeded our expectations.
