Gottsu presents a revival model of the Otto Link Tonemaster! This is a thorough reproduction of the Otto Link Tone Master, made in the 1940s and early 1950s and known to have been a favorite of John Coltrane! It was created by bringing together the technology accumulated over the 10 years since Gotts was founded. The Tone Master has been thoroughly recreated, from the previous model's protrusion at the top of the mouthpiece (even the seam lines seen on the original are reproduced!) to the distinctive shank shape. The low, short rollover bump, wide chamber, and sidewalls are reproduced with precision machinery, resulting in a rich, dark tone. This is a mouthpiece that we would recommend to anyone looking for a vintage link or who is looking for a mellow, refined jazz sound. ■Material: Vintage brass (Gotz original) ■ Surface finish: Gold plated ■ Accessories: Plastic case, pouch Please note that since this item is handmade, there may be small scratches or imperfections. 【opening】 "89" (2.26mm)...Equivalent to Otto Link 6, Berg Lasen 90, Dukoff 5-6 (Please consider this as a guide only) *Delivery time may vary depending on the opening.
