Ovaltone has released a modified Ibanez TS-9. This mod is inspired by the TS-10, which has an attractive narrow and warm midrange. Tuned to a narrow frequency and dynamic range, it provides a smooth, easy-to-listen-to crunch at low gain and a saturated, smoky lead sound at high gain. The TS-10's slightly lacking volume response, a little more low-mid support, and a sense of realism in the sound have been compensated for by tuning with practicality in mind.
