This product has a heavier recommended stylus pressure than the standard type (192-44-7) to withstand the hard scratching that occurs during DJ play. This replacement stylus is a "solid round" type. It has a standard conical shape and is a general-purpose model that reproduces a general range of sound. Its typical lifespan is approximately 200 hours.
