This fabulous 3-ply matelasse' knit from a NY designer has a quilted grid pattern with a 1/2" repeat. It is textured, supple and soft, and the color is a light gray heather, with c ream on the reverse (PANTONE 12-4302-ish). The quilted texture appears on both sides, but the back is a flatter weave. It is medium weight and opaque with a body in the drape and about 30% widthwise stretch.
