In 2019, a digital reissue of the Attack Decay was released. This Pico Attack Decay delivers volume envelope effects in a simple and compact package. The Pico Attack Decay allows you to set volume swell and decay in both MONO mode, where a single volume envelope is assigned to every note played, and the innovative POLY mode, where a different envelope is applied to each input note. With its intuitive features and simple controls, the Pico Attack Decay opens up creative avenues for any player interested in volume envelopes. The Pico Attack Decay is powerful yet simple, allowing you to create a wide range of effects with just four knobs and a mode button. The ATTACK knob sets the swell or fade-in speed of the volume envelope, while the DECAY knob sets the fade-out speed. Setting ATTACK higher produces a slow, undulating volume. Setting DECAY higher produces a punchy, artificial, staccato sound like a synth. SENS adjusts the threshold that triggers the envelope. VOL adjusts the overall output volume.
