DESCRIPTION It’s hard to imagine a more classic and timeless shoe than this black Oxford shoe by the brand Engelbrekt. Engelbrekt was a luxury brand produced by the shoemaker J. Pe hrsson & Co during the first half of the 20th century. In the late 1940s, men’s shoes began to shift towards a more streamlined design, and this pair was made during this period, sometime in the late 1940s or early 1950s. It is built on Engelbrekt's 100 last, one of their most popular lasts. They described it as follows: "Through its elegant toe shape and well-crafted fit, this shoe, available in several colors and styles, satisfies even the most discerning taste." The shoes are unused and show no wear other than a few light scratches on the leather sole, likely from someone trying them on at some point. Inside, they feature Engelbrekt’s distinctive logo on the sole and are lined with grey leather, also characteristic of Engelbrekt. They have rubber heels. The shoes come in their original box.
