The Birdland Acoustic Mixer R3 easily blends the two pickups installed on your acoustic guitar to create a more natural acoustic guitar sound. When performing live, the sound you create with an acoustic guitar is just as important as the guitarist's playing technique. No matter how excellent the natural sound and tone an acoustic guitar produces, the basis for creating sound during a live performance is using a pickup, and if the settings are not correct, you will not be able to give a satisfactory performance. Birdland believes that the sound of a dual pickup is more natural than that of a single pickup, so they developed a mixer circuit that optimally blends the two pickups. To date, Acoustic Mixer has been updated and released repeatedly, incorporating feedback from users and in the field. The unique buffer circuit, which has been refined with each release, is not just for adjusting the volume; it also provides a clear yet moderate sense of amplification, allowing for operability that responds to the player's sensibilities. The updated Acoustic Mixer R3 features gain for each channel and a phase switch on the ring side to prevent feedback. We also changed the design from the previous horizontal to a vertical one to save space when incorporating an effects board.・Tip, Ring Volume Adjusts the volume of each pickup. Tip and Ring Gain Adjusts the input level of each pickup. By setting the signal to an appropriate volume, you can control it even if there is a volume difference between the input PUs.・Phase This is a phase inversion switch for the pickup connected to the Ring side. Tilt it up to reverse the phase. This will help prevent feedback.・INPUT If you are using a Y-cable with two shields, connect them to their respective INPUTs. If you are using a stereo cable, you can use it by connecting it to the Stereo IN side. *9V batteries cannot be used. To operate it, use a 9V center negative adapter.
