Inspired by the Bosstone circuit, the Hephaestus was created as an homage to the classic "Spirit in the Sky" fuzz box. The combination of NPN and PNP transistor pairs delivers the familiar gain sound, but that's not enough. That's where the Warning knob comes in. The WARNING knob adjusts the voltage and shifts the circuit's parameters. Turning the knob to the 1 o'clock position produces a wild, analog sub-octave effect, while simultaneously maintaining the classic fuzz cleanup expected from this type of pedal. The only warning knob on the Hephaestus's surface adjusts the circuit's voltage. Turning it fully clockwise (5 o'clock) gives you a simple fuzz sound, and as you turn the knob back, sub-octaves and other harmonics begin to unlock. The balance of these sounds and their interaction with your guitar will change depending on where you set the knob, so experiment to find where the knob works best for you. There's a small volume trimmer inside, and once you set it to your preferred position, you won't need to adjust it very often.・9VDC power supply (center negative) Approximately 10mA current consumption True bypass switching Internal volume trimmer Mono input and output Housing dimensions: 3.65 x 1.53 x 1.07
