This instrument, the "S The Standard SD -Black Top-," is a sloped shoulder model reconstructed by Dana based on the 1940s style J-45. Furthermore, this particular guitar is a special order with a black top finished in piano black, a fire stripe pickguard, and a beautiful Madagascar rosewood fingerboard. It features a classic sloped shoulder body, Adirondack spruce top, mahogany back and sides, mahogany neck, and Madagascar rosewood wood materials. The top and braces are treated with Beaujois' signature torrefied finish (aged tone), and are glued together with animal glue, resulting in a tone and playability that exudes a mellow, aged sound nuance.
