A world-class amp and cabinet simulator has evolved The [ACS1](TM)MKII is an amplifier and speaker cabinet simulator that delivers world-class amp sound and feel, Tone Factor and York Audio-created IRs (Impulse Response), and controllable acoustic space size. Its compact, pedal-sized enclosure is packed with features for stage, studio, or home practice. Simple controls, stereo in/out, onboard presets, and MIDI support make the ACS1 MKII an essential tool for any guitarist. You can also load your own IRs and update the firmware at walrusaudio.io. ---------------------------------------------------------- Power supply: 9VDC center negative (for adapter only) 300mA minimum Amplifiers The ACS1 MKII lets you mix and match stereo amps and cabinets. Use an AC30-style amp on the left and an Orange-style amp on the right, or use a 5150-style amp on both channels with different cabinets for a wider stereo sound. When using the ACS1 MKII in stereo, you can use one amp on both channels. Or, use any of these combinations independently for powerful, unique amp tones. Simply press the center encoder to select individual settings for L, R, or L+R combinations. And you can mix and match without phase/polarity issues. Amp Models? Vintage? It features a powerful, dense and tight low end, a strong midrange and a bright, sharp high end. Citrus Inspired by the warm, rich, and harmonically complex Orange® Rockerverb, this classic British gain pedal offers creamy mids and punchy lows, while maintaining clarity and definition across the tonal spectrum, even at high gain settings. Tread Inspired by the world-famous Mesa Boogie® Dual Rectifier with its incredible gain, the versatile Tread is a favorite among guitarists in genres ranging from classic metal to punk, delivering heavy, rich saturation that lets you stand out from the crowd. Cabinet IRs The ACS1 MKII includes six custom-designed IRs by David Hislop and Kenyon Reed of Tone Factor, and six custom-designed IRs by Justin York of YorkAudio. Each IR was created using vintage and modern amplifiers to deliver the ultimate in tonal representation. Users can also load their own IRs through the WalrusAudio customer web app at walrusaudio.io. Primary Controls Volume, Gain, and Room are made up of the three knobs at the top. Volume and Gain are linked, so as the gain increases and the volume gets louder, the volume can be reduced to compensate. Room Knob The ACS1 MKII includes three reverb effects. The Room knob adjusts the room size and amount of reverb. The Room Decay control can be adjusted in the Global Sound menu. Room Tight Room Reverb is intended to create the impression of your amp being miked in rooms of various sizes. Turn it all the way down to disengage, or turn it up to add a sense of space to your sound. Hall Hall reverb emulation with decay control that simulates the acoustics of large live sound spaces. Spring A spring reverb emulation that simulates the spring reverb found in tube amps, with a decay control. Bass/Mid/Treble EQ Bass, mid and treble controls can be adjusted using the encoder knobs on the home screen. This simple EQ control has visual feedback and can be used to adjust the levels of the L, R and L+R channels. Noise Gate The built-in noise gate is particularly effective with high-gain amp models. Threshold and Release can be adjusted numerically, and the navigation screen makes detailed settings easy. Amp EQ Presence and Resonance can be adjusted to fine-tune your tone. Bypass IRs or Amps The ACS1 MKII allows you to bypass both the IR and the amp model, so you can use only the ACS1 MKII IR when using an amplifier other than the ACS1 MKII, or vice versa when using other IRs or speaker cabinets. Presets The ACS1 has a total of 128 preset slots. Each bank contains three presets, which can be toggled by simultaneously pressing the BYPASS and BOOST switches. All 128 presets can be accessed via MIDI program change messages.
