The signature model of John Taylor, bassist of the world-famous band Duran Duran, is now in stock! This model is based on the Rio Dream Bass, which was produced in a limited run of 82 units worldwide, but with modified specifications and color, it has been added to the Ready To Play series artist model catalog. The wood construction is a new combination that differs from the previous CC series and NG series, and features a Nyatoh (Natoh) body, maple neck, maple fingerboard with a "Rio Eye" inlay at the 12th fret, and a newly developed integrated bridge called "Minimalist." The pickups are three FD3n neodymium magnets, providing a variety of sounds reminiscent of J, P, and MM types. The Neve onboard preamp, a distinctive feature of this unit, was developed during the development of the John Taylor model, a first for Neve, as a result of the company's connection with Duran Duran, who used a Neve console when recording their album. The simple operation with two EQs for treble and bass and the natural, clear variation like a clean booster produce a very rich low end and crisp high range that won't interfere with the ensemble no matter where you turn the knob, making it a great choice for both studio and live musicians.
