Based on the Ma tch Box, which features two independent overdrives, a signature pedal incorporating Kelly SIMONZ's requests has been created! The standard MatchBox consists of two independent overdrive circuits, "RED" and "GOLD," but this Special Edition replaces "RED" with "SILVER," which has been fine-tuned to suit Kelly SIMONZ's playing style. It also features a footswitch circuit for sophisticated on/off control and an added TRS connector for controlling the on/off of each circuit with a latch signal. Furthermore, the custom-made 2mm thick brass enclosure has been given an antique feel and a distressed finish to give it a classic and substantial appearance. Kelly SIMONZ uses it to further boost a distorted amp, adjusting the DRIVE setting to control the edge and distortion when strumming wound strings, and the FLAVOR setting to improve clarity and definition when playing fast phrases on plain strings. [Sophisticated footswitch circuit] You can switch between "SILVER" and "GOLD" individually (ON/OFF), "BOTH" (ON simultaneously), and "OFF simultaneously" with a single action from any state. What is 【FLAVOR】? This is not a typical tone control! It's a subtle touch that adjusts the tone as it changes in response to the DRIVE value. By adding FLAVOR, you can achieve a more distinctive guitar sound that won't get lost in the band's ensemble.
