The FOURTEEN is the pinnacle of Mike Fortin's modification philosophy. Having produced his custom TS model, a secret weapon for discerning guitarists worldwide, Fortin has refined the circuitry that everyone desires. Building upon the highly acclaimed Fortin Hexdrive tradition, FOURTEEN meticulously tunes two additional modes to deliver a harmonically rich and dynamic response, solidifying Fortin's position as an authority in overdrive modifications. FOURTEEN has everything you need to push your amp's tone to new heights (and aggressive sounds when you need them). FOURTEEN is not just a TS-style pedal; it combines Mike's three favorite TS-Mods into a single pedal. Featuring three unique modes on each of its two identical channels (plus a 1/4-inch side jack for seamless amp channel switching), the FOURTEEN offers uncompromising, perfect control. Each of the three modes symbolizes a milestone in pedal history, including the legendary Fortin modified OD9/TS9, OD808/TS808, and the iconic Hexdrive. With its switchable amp channels and assignable drive function, the FOURTEEN is an essential tool for anyone seeking pure, unwavering power and tone control. Let your amplifier produce a sound like never before. ■Control On: True bypass, relay-based soft footswitch. *FOURTEEN powers up while remaining in the same state as when the power is off. CH 1/2: Red is channel 1 (upper control), green is channel 2 (lower control). Drive: Controls the amount of clipping/gain in the circuit. Tone: Controls the clarity of the signal. Because it's an active control, you can not only cut frequencies but also boost them. Level: Controls the output level of the pedal. • HD Mode: HexDrive mode offers heavy musicians new tone-shaping possibilities. HD transitions from a clean boost to an overdrive, combining the best of both worlds. The key is the DRIVE sweep. By not adding distortion until around 10-11 o'clock, you can enjoy the natural character of your amp's front end while still driving it. As you increase the gain, a sweet midrange is brought out, further enhancing the tone. • F9 Mode: This F9 mode gradually increases the output level, achieving a more natural drive without compromising the amplifier's character. F9 mode employs an alternative clipping circuit, providing a clean boost even when the DRIVE control is turned down counterclockwise. When the DRIVE is increased, the sound changes to a more natural, tube-like sound compared to conventional drive. F9 enhances the midrange and emphasizes harmonics, resulting in a clearer picking attack. The LEVEL output is twice that of HD mode. • F808 Mode: The F808 surpasses the other two modes in output level and saturation, functioning as both an amp booster and a pure distortion pedal. The primary clipping stage, combined with a secondary clipping stage added to the DRIVE control, produces a natural breakup. This added gain stage provides a natural, tube-like overdrive sound with enhanced compression and organic bloom as you turn the DRIVE control clockwise. In this mode, you enhance the upper midrange while maintaining low-end depth, emphasizing picking attack and harmonics. LEVEL output is three times that of HD mode.Power Supply: 9VDC center negative only Current Draw: 115mA @9vDC Industry-standard DPDT relay true bypass switching Remote switching allows you to activate the pedal and change amp channels at the same time Two identical channels Three voicing modes per channel Made in the USA
