The TL Early '60s was created by measuring actual vintage original pickups and bringing back the specifications of the early 1960s for the modern era. This model features a wide ra nge of faithful reproductions, including the diameter of the alnico magnet, the height of each pole piece, the coil wire coating and diameter, the thickness of the base plate, and the potting process, allowing you to fully enjoy the wonderful vintage feel. The bridge position uses the same thin steel base plate as the original, which allows for slightly more coil turns. This gives the guitar just the right amount of fatness and power. The neck position is finished with only a coating of nitrocellulose lacquer (no wax) during the potting process, which reduces unnecessary low-mid bulge and produces a tight, lustrous top end for a pleasant tone.
