A special order model featuring an aged finish that gives it a well-worn look! momose Custom Craft Guitar Momose is renowned for its high level of craftsmanship. The ORIGINAL series inherits the basic structure of vintage guitars while incorporating modern updates throughout. This lineup embodies Mr. Momose's manufacturing philosophy of "bringing out the natural resonance of the wood through processing tailored to the individual characteristics of each material." This highly popular model is packed with Momose's signature features, including a recessed joint plate in the heel cut, wood binding, and an original headstock. This particular model, the "MC2-STD/M," features an ash body and a maple fingerboard. This truly showcases the power of "Made in Japan"! ◆Momose Original Series『MC』 The MC is an original model that inherits the traditional ST style while being uniquely refined by Momose. Each piece is handcrafted by artisans at the Asuka factory, from woodworking to painting and assembly. Its meticulous craftsmanship results in exceptional playability, which has been praised by many top players, embodying the reliable quality of the Momose brand. ◆The wider horn section enhances playability in the higher positions. The MC model has a larger cutout in the horn section on the treble string side compared to the traditional ST type. This improves playability in the higher positions, and allows players with large hands to comfortably ascend to the higher frets. ◆Recessed joint plate processing: While employing an orthodox plate joint to avoid compromising the traditional sound characteristics, the plate section has been recessed to improve playability. ◆Wood binding to prevent fingerboard problems: The sides of the fingerboard are fitted with wood binding made from the same material as the fingerboard. This makes the sides of the fretboard very smooth and also prevents problems such as fret burrs sticking out. ◆Wide-width rod adjustment: The uniquely shaped headstock features a wide adjustment hole that allows for smooth neck adjustment. The shape has also been made wider to allow for easier adjustment. ◆Momose VS-1 pickup It is equipped with Momose's original pickup, the 'VS-1'. With the crispness characteristic of single-coil pickups and modern ease of use, this pickup is tuned to deliver a tone that can handle a variety of musical genres. Experience the uncompromising sound that Momose offers.
