A custom-made Esquire! Used item now in stock! We have received a used Fender Custom Shop Esquire with a very unique modification that shows respect for a certain JB. Based on a 19 59 Esquire, this guitar has a cool black relic finish. It is attractive for its realistic aging that looks like it has been played for many years and the high level of craftsmanship that is unique to the Custom Shop. This instrument has been modified with an elbow contour, which makes it unusually easy to play for an Esquire. Furthermore, it is a modified specification with an additional front pickup, and in addition to the rear Custom Shop Hand-Wound Single Coil, it is equipped with a Gibson BurstBucker in the front. You can freely switch between the crispness of the single coil and the thick, glossy tone of the humbucker with the 3-way switch. The fast attack and core sound of the ash body and maple neck and fingerboard remain intact. This is an instrument that allows you to enjoy the excellent resonance of the bolt-on construction and the direct response that is characteristic of Esquire, with a wider variety of sounds. This particular guitar has a repaired crack in the pickguard, an added front pickup, and an added elbow contour. While it already has a relic finish and new scratches are difficult to identify, the body shows overall wear, including scratches, playing wear, discoloration, dents, and significant tarnishing and rust on the hardware. It's in a player's condition commensurate with its age. The frets retain about 70% of their height, and there are no issues with playability, including the neck condition, truss rod, and electronics!
