A 2006 Southern Jumbo with a well-worn, dignified look has arrived as a used item!! The Southern Jumbo was introduced in 1942 as a higher-end model of the flagship J-45. It has undergone various minor changes over the years and has been a favorite among many musicians. This particular aircraft incorporates specifications seen in the highly popular 1950s models, making it a quintessential Southern Jumbo. Regarding its condition, upon arrival at our store, the guitar underwent bracing bonding, nut replacement, fret leveling, and a complete setup at our partner workshop. The playability is excellent, with all aspects of playability and wear parts perfectly adjusted. While there are no cracks that reach the wood, the guitar shows clear signs of heavy use by the previous owner, with noticeable damage including weather checking, scratches and dents, gouges in the lower fretboard, winder marks, and sun damage. The tuning pegs are open-back type made by GOTOH, and the bridge pins have been replaced. This guitar is in player's condition and exudes the sophisticated aura characteristic of Gibson acoustics. It features an LR Baggs Element pickup and has a simpler control scheme with only one volume control, unlike the current model. They would be immediately useful in live performance settings. Want a guitar you can use to your heart's content in live performances? Want an acoustic guitar with character and a unique feel, rather than a shiny, polished one? Then this is the one you should definitely try!Top: Spruce Side & Back: Mahogany Neck: Mahogany Fingerboard: Rosewood Scale Length: 628 mm Nut Width: 43 mm PU: LRBaggs Element Accessories: Original hard case
