Description The M5Stack 90° Infrared Reflective Unit (ITR9606) is a compact OP90 90° non-contact photoelectric limit switch for object passage detection, safety interlocks, and automated mechanical control. It uses an infrared transmitter and receiver placed on opposite sides so an object passing through the sensing path blocks the infrared beam and triggers a digital action signal. The M5Stack 90° Infrared Reflective Unit (ITR9606) is designed for Port B digital input projects and works well as a door switch, photoelectric counter, scanner detector, or mechanical limit detection module. Its right-angle sensing layout is useful when the installation requires a 90° optical path rather than a straight-through fork layout. Notice: The output is 1 when the sensor is blocked. It continuously sends infrared light toward the receiver. When an object blocks the infrared signal, the unit generates a digital action signal. What is the difference between OP90 and OP180? OP90 uses a 90° sensing layout for right-angle installations, while OP180 uses a straight-through 180° transmitter and receiver layout. What projects is it suitable for? The M5Stack 90° Infrared Reflective Unit (ITR9606) is suitable for automatic doors, mechanical limit detection, safety interlocks, counters, scanner detection, and small object passage detection.
