Ross Curtis This 1960s monochrome still life is by California Expressionist painter and sculptor Ross Curtis (1918-2007). Curtis was the co-founder of a noted Northern California g roup of artists known as the "Sausalito Teahouse Group". He studied under the Mexican revolutionary muralist, Alfredo Zalce. In the 1960s, Curtis was part of the Sausalito Teahouse Group with Ross and Eileen Curtis in Marin, CA. The group used an early 1900s Japanese Teahouse as a studio and exhibition space. 1960s Ink on Paper 22"x18.5" framed Estate stamped lower right. Good vintage condition. Show more
