Ross Curtis This 1960s ink wash drawing of a turkey is by California Expressionist painter and sculptor Ross Curtis (1918-2007). Curtis was the co-founder of a noted Northern Calif ornia group of artists known as the "Sausalito Teahouse Group". He studied under the Mexican revolutionary muralist, Alfredo Zalce. In the 1960s, Curtis was part of the Sausalito Teahouse Group with Ross and Eileen Curtis in Marin, CA.
