This movement offers the functionality to lock the bottom chronograph button simply by sliding the pusher up towards the crown. This prevents any mishaps during timing. On top of that, this example features a gorgeous silvered dial with two registers for constant seconds and 30-minute tracking. All of this is housed in a 40mm steel case – which was pretty large for the 1940s –making this timepiece a true tool watch. The dial is well balanced, with some light spotting throughout. There is a noticeable mark near 12 o’clock and some darker marks around the tachymeter scale on the dial.
