Aleppo Pepper - (8,000-10,000 SHU) The Aleppo Pepper comes from the region around the city of Aleppo in modern-day Syria. It is a staple of Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, particularly in Armenia, Lebanon, and Syria. It is known for its fruitiness, mild cumin flavor, and sun-dried tomato tang under a wave of heat that builds after the initial taste. It is one of our favorite peppers and one of the hardest to find which makes them even more precious.
