Aletha Full Body System
Aletha Health | Full Body System Aletha Full Body System - Four Tools and a Printed Book The Aletha Full Body System is one box holding five components: the Mark, which is Aletha's Hip Hook, the Orbit, the Range, the Band, and a printed copy of Tight Hip, Twisted Core: The Key to Unresolved Pain. The set is arranged around the six keystone muscles, which are the iliacus, the psoas, the piriformis, the upper trapezius, the suboccipitals and the pectoralis minor. Two of those sit behind the front of the pelvis, two sit at the back of the hip, and two sit at the neck and the chest wall. Each tool is a different shape for a different part of that list. The Mark is a hand-held hip flexor tool whose tip turns on a joint, so one contact point serves two muscles at the front of the hip. The Orbit is a sphere 4 in. across, set on the floor and lain over, covering the front and the back of the same joint. The Range is one body carrying three pairs of tips, and the pair you lie on decides which column of muscle above the waist takes the contact. The Band is a closed loop returning 30 to 50 lb, with the stretch deciding where in that span you land. Three of the four work the same way. You put a shape against a muscle, your body weight or a wall supplies the pressure, and you hold still for 90 seconds while you breathe slowly. The Band reverses that, working through repetitions while your legs travel against the loop. The book arrives as a physical copy alongside the four tools, the Mark comes in black or white, and the Range, the Orbit and the Band are all black in this box. Aletha covers each of the four tools for 365 days from purchase against defects in materials and workmanship. Returns are where this box needs reading closely. Only the Mark and the Range fall inside Aletha's 60 day return window, and the Orbit, the Band and the book are not returnable even when they arrive inside this bundle. Nobody under 18 should use any of it, and the cautions carried with the set cover all four tools at once. Components Five Four tools and one printed book Keystone muscles Six Iliacus, psoas, piriformis, traps, suboccipitals, pec minor Hold 90 seconds On each of the three pressure tools Warranty 365 days Only the Mark and the Range are returnable The Mark, the Orbit, the Range and the Band A printed book in the same box Six keystone muscles from hip to skull Black or white Mark, with a black Range The set Six Keystone Muscles in One Box Aletha arranges these four tools around six muscles that sit a long way apart on the body. Two are behind the front of the pelvis, two are at the back of the hip, and two are above the shoulders, so no single shape reaches all of them. 01 Four Shapes for Six Named Muscles The six keystone muscles are the iliacus, the psoas, the piriformis, the upper trapezius, the suboccipitals and the pectoralis minor. The iliacus and the psoas sit behind the front of the pelvis, the piriformis sits deep at the back of the hip, the upper trapezius runs across the top of the shoulder, the suboccipitals sit under the ridge at the back of the skull, and the pectoralis minor lies on the chest wall beneath the front of the shoulder. One tool covers the front of the hip, one covers the back of it, one covers everything above the waist, and the loop works the hips and glutes through movement. Six muscles, four tools 02 The Mark and the Orbit Share One Hip Both of these go at the hip and they divide the work between them. The Orbit is a sphere, so it presses broadly across the psoas and the hip crease and around to the glutes and the piriformis at the back. The Mark carries a tip on a rotating joint, so it can pass the ridge of the front pelvic bone and turn inward to the iliacus behind it. One shape stops at that ridge and the other travels round it, so the box holds a broad contact and a pointed one at the same joint. Sphere and rotating tip 03 The Range Takes Everything Above the Waist The Range is the only component in the box that reaches above the waist. Its three pairs of tips are separated by distance from the spine: narrow for the column nearest the bones, medium for the one between, wide for the column furthest out. Two positions are floor work, taking the trapezius under your back and the base of the skull under your head, and the third holds the tool at a wall for the chest. Tip width is the only thing that changes from one hold to the next. Three tip widths 04 The Band Is the One You Pull Against Three components in the box are pressed into a muscle and held still. The Band works the opposite way round: a closed loop sits around the legs and gives back 30 to 50 lb for them to work against, with the stretch setting where in that span you land. The named exercises are clam shells, glute bridges, hip pulses, planks, squats, hamstring bridges, glute kickbacks, fire hydrants and band walks, done on the floor, on your back and standing. No hold time and no contact point apply here, so the Band is the only part of the set worked through repetitions. 30 to 50 lb Component by component What Each of the Five Parts Is Five components arrive in one box, and each carries its own shape, its own figures and its own place on the body. The Mark and the Orbit work one hip between them, the Range works everything above the waist, and the Band works through movement. 01 The Mark Carries the Rotating Tip At 10 in. long and 10 oz, its tip curves around the pelvic bone when the handle goes down. 02 The Orbit Measures Four Inches Across A 4 in. sphere that you lie over on the floor for the psoas, the glutes and the piriformis. 03 The Range Offers Three Tip Widths Three pairs of tips measure 1.63 in. to 3.06 in. apart and reach three columns of muscle. 04 The Band Gives Thirty to Fifty Pounds A closed loop giving back 30 to 50 lb, with the stretch setting where in that span you land. 05 A Printed Book in the Same Box A printed guidebook arrives as a physical copy alongside the four tools in the box. 06 Two Colorways for the Mark The Mark comes in black or in white, and the Range ships black whichever one you pick. 07 Ninety Seconds on Each Pressure Tool The Mark, the Orbit and the Range each take a still 90 second hold at moderate pressure. 08 Only Two Components Are Returnable The Mark and the Range sit inside Aletha's 60 day window and the other three components do not. In detail Where Each Component Goes on the Body The hip Two Shapes at the Front and Back of the Hip The hip gets two components and they divide the work by shape. The Orbit is a sphere 4 in. across, set on the floor and lain over, and its size is what lets it press across the psoas, the hip crease where the psoas and iliacus meet, and round to the glutes and the piriformis at the back. The Mark goes to the same front-of-hip area with a tip you can steer: place it away from the bone with the platform flat for the psoas, or close to the bone and press the handle down so the tip travels round the rim to the iliacus behind it. The order of use puts the Orbit first and the Mark after it on the same side. Orbit: a 4 in. sphere lain on, at the front and back of the hip Mark: a rotating tip that curves around the pelvic bone Psoas and iliacus at the front, glutes and piriformis behind Ninety seconds a spot on either one Front of hip Back of hip Neck and chest The Range Covers Three Places Above the Shoulder One component in the box handles everything from the shoulders up. On your back with your knees bent, the tips sit on the upper trapezius where it runs into the neck, and pushing through your feet adds as much load as you want. Sliding the tool up so your head rests over it puts the tips under the ridge at the base of the skull, where the suboccipitals sit, with the weight of your head doing all the pressing. Held against a wall with the tips facing you, it reaches the pectoralis minor beneath the front of the shoulder. Each of the three holds for 90 seconds. Upper trapezius: lie back, knees bent, push with the feet Suboccipitals: rest the head over the tips Pectoralis minor: hold it against a wall and lean in Three tip widths set by distance from the spine Floor and wall Three positions What goes back Two Components Can Go Back and Three Cannot Buying the set does not put every part of it under the same returns terms, and that catches people out. Aletha's 60 day return window reaches the Mark and the Range and stops there. The Orbit, the Band and the book are not returnable on their own and they are not returnable inside this bundle either, so a customer who sends the whole box back is sending back three items that do not qualify. Warranty is a separate matter and runs 365 days on each of the four tools against defects in materials and workmanship. Mark and Range: inside Aletha's 60 day return window Orbit, Band and book: not returnable, bundle included Warranty runs 365 days on each of the four tools Original packaging kept, and the item like-new Two returnable 365 day warranty Safety Who Should Not Use the Full Body System Four tools in one box means four sets of cautions, and the list covers all of them together. The family Five Aletha Tools Side by Side All four Aletha tools are in this box, and the alternative is buying them one at a time. Shape, the place on the body, where the pressure comes from and whether Aletha takes it back are what separate one from the next. Four tools and a printed guidebook in one box Six keystone muscles, hip crease to base of skull Black or white Mark, with a black Range Only the Mark and the Range are returnable Currently viewing Questions Settling the Five Components Before You Order What comes in the Aletha Full Body System?+ Five components. The Mark, which is Aletha's Hip Hook, the Orbit, the Range, the Band, and a printed guidebook. The Mark is black or white to your choice, and the Range, the Orbit and the Band are black in the box. What are the six keystone muscles?+ The iliacus and the psoas behind the front of the pelvis, the piriformis deep at the back of the hip, the upper trapezius over the top of the shoulder, the suboccipitals under the ridge at the back of the skull, and the pectoralis minor beneath the front of the shoulder. Aletha groups the set around those six, and the four tools between them are shaped to reach all of them. Which parts of the Aletha Full Body System can be returned?+ The Mark and the Range only. Aletha's 60 day return window covers those two, and the Orbit, the Band and the book are not returnable whether they are bought on their own or inside this bundle. It is worth knowing before the box is opened. Returns on your order with us are handled under our own terms. What is in the Aletha Full Body System box besides the tools?+ A printed guidebook, which arrives as a physical component alongside the four tools. It is one of the three items in the set that cannot be sent back. What colors does the Aletha Full Body System come in?+ Two, and the choice applies to the Mark. You pick a black Mark or a white Mark, and the Range ships black in either version of the box. The Orbit and the Band are black. How long do you hold each Aletha tool in the set?+ 90 seconds on the Mark, the Orbit and the Range, held still and without rubbing, at a pressure you can keep breathing slowly through. One to three spots per day on each side of the body is the pattern across all three. The Band has no hold time at all, because it is worked through movement and not pressed into a muscle. Do you need all four Aletha tools?+ It depends which of the six muscles you are going after. The Mark and the Orbit both work the hip and reach different parts of it. The Range is the only one for the neck, the shoulder and the chest wall. The Band is the only one worked through movement. Buying two of them separately is a fair route if you know which two you want, though a Mark bought on its own arrives as the Hip Hook System with an Orbit already in its box. Does the Orbit reach the same muscles as the Mark?+ Not entirely. The Orbit is a 4 in. sphere pressing toward its own center, so it covers the psoas, the hip crease, the glutes and the piriformis and stops at the ridge of the front pelvic bone. The Mark turns its tip inward past that ridge, which is how it reaches the iliacus on the inner face of the pelvis. Who should not use the Aletha Full Body System?+ Anyone under the age of 18, and anyone the caution list rules out for a given tool. Do not use the Mark or the Orbit if you have an inguinal hernia or are pregnant; do not use the Range if you have vertebral artery insufficiency, an aneurysm, vascular disease or an increased risk of lymphedema; do not use the Band if you have a latex allergy. Consult your doctor before use where you have a pre-existing condition. What warranty covers the tools in the Aletha Full Body System?+ Each of the four tools carries 365 days of cover from the date of purchase against defects in materials and workmanship, for the original purchaser, and Aletha decides between a fix and a replacement. Cosmetic marks, misuse, an accident, contact with liquid and ordinary wear fall outside it, and so do open-box and internet-auction purchases.
