Independently tested and ECB-S certified to EN 1143-1 Grade 3, the Amario carries a recommended £35,000 cash / £350,000 valuables rating and is both AiS insurance approved and built to the UK Police Preferred Specification through Secured by Design. Available in three sizes from 18 to 98 litres, with a choice of high-security Key or Electronic locking, the Amario Grade 3 combines formidable physical security with practical storage and relatively compact dimensions suitable for premium residential and professional installations. EN 1143-1 Grade 3 Certified Security The Burton Amario has been independently attack tested and certified by ECB-S to EN 1143-1 Grade 3. Grade 3 represents a substantial level of recognised burglary resistance and carries a recommended £35,000 cash rating or £350,000 valuables rating. This makes the Amario Grade 3 particularly well suited to protecting: High-value jewellery Luxury watches and watch collections Cash Precious metals and collectables Important personal possessions Confidential documents Other high-value contents For customers whose insurance requirements exceed the limits of a Grade 1 or Grade 2 safe, the Amario Grade 3 provides a significant increase in independently certified burglary protection. £35,000 Cash / £350,000 Valuables Rating The recommended £350,000 valuables rating makes the Amario Grade 3 particularly well suited to substantial jewellery and luxury watch collections. The range is also insurance approved by the Association of Insurance Surveyors (AiS) and built to the Police Preferred Specification – Secured by Design, providing additional reassurance when selecting a safe for high-value insured possessions. Despite its formidable security credentials, the Amario has been designed with relatively compact external dimensions, making serious Grade 3 protection practical within many residential environments. Choice of Key or Electronic Locking Every standard Amario Grade 3 size is available with a choice of high-security Key or Electronic locking. Key Lock The key-locking option provides straightforward, dependable access through a high-security lock, making it an excellent choice where traditional physical key control is preferred. Electronic Lock The electronic models provide convenient PIN-code access through a high-security electronic lock certified to EN 1300 and VdS Class B. The electronic lock provides: 1 Master Code 1 User Code External battery access Low-battery warning Convenient keyless operation The lock also incorporates an LED light, making the keypad easier to operate when the safe is installed inside a wardrobe, cupboard or other darker location. Substantial Grade 3 Construction The Amario Grade 3 has been engineered around formidable physical security. A substantial 50mm-thick safe door protects the locking system, while heavy-duty three-way locking with 25mm diameter bolts secures the door from multiple directions. A fixed dog bolt on the hinge side provides additional protection against attempted hinge attacks, helping ensure the door remains secured even if the external hinges are targeted. The safe also incorporates a pre-drilled 10mm cable hole in the upper rear corner, allowing power or data cabling to be routed into the safe where required. Three Sizes to Suit Your Requirements The Burton Amario Grade 3 is available in three sizes. Every size provides the same EN 1143-1 Grade 3 certified security and recommended £35,000 cash / £350,000 valuables rating. Practical Internal Storage Size 1 incorporates one removable shelf, while Sizes 2 and 3 are supplied with two shelves. This allows the interior to be organised around jewellery boxes, watch cases, documents, collectables and other valuable possessions. The larger capacities available within the Amario range make it particularly useful for customers who need substantially more storage than a conventional compact home safe while retaining a discreet, premium appearance. Secure Floor & Wall Fixing Correct installation is essential with an independently certified Grade 3 safe. The Amario Grade 3 incorporates back and base fixing provision, allowing the safe to be securely anchored to an appropriate structural floor or wall. A substantial concrete fixing bolt is supplied. The safe must be correctly anchored to maintain its security certification and associated recommended insurance rating. Given the weights involved – from approximately 130kg to 330kg – together with the potentially high value of the contents, professional installation is strongly recommended. SafeFort Recommendation The Burton Amario Grade 3 is one of our strongest recommendations for customers protecting substantial jewellery and luxury watch collections, particularly where an insurer requires recognised Grade 3 security. Its combination of EN 1143-1 Grade 3 certification, £350,000 recommended valuables rating, AiS insurance approval and Secured by Design status provides an exceptional level of independently verified burglary protection. The compact 18-litre Size 1 is particularly attractive where exceptionally high security is required within a relatively discreet installation. For larger collections, the 41-litre Size 2 provides considerably more usable capacity and two shelves while retaining manageable external dimensions. The 98-litre Size 3 is the natural choice for substantial collections, providing more than twice the capacity of Size 2 while retaining exactly the same Grade 3 certification and £350,000 recommended valuables rating. Compared with the Amario Grade 2, the Grade 3 doubles the recommended cash rating from £17,500 to £35,000 and the valuables rating from £175,000 to £350,000. Customers comparing the Amario Grade 3 with the Burton Home Safe G3 should note that both provide the same Grade 3 and £350,000 recommended valuables rating. The Amario is the more substantial Premium Series alternative, offering greater storage capacity and a choice of Key or Electronic locking. For customers seeking a substantial premium safe for high-value jewellery, luxury watches and other valuable possessions, the Burton Amario Grade 3 provides an exceptional combination of independently certified security, practical storage and flexible locking options. Where the value of the contents exceeds the Grade 3 recommendation, the Burton Amario Grade 4 provides the natural next step within the range.
