Ambrexol™ is a finer alternative for the old Fixateur® 404 product of Firmenich® which has now been replaced by an inferior dilution of racemic Cetalox® under the name of Fixateur 505. Previous iterations of Fixateur contained a very special quality of (-)-ambrox (called Ambrox classique) which is now effectively withdrawn from the market. Fraterworks Ambrexol™ pairs the nearest equivalent of ambrox classique with traces of supporting materials to replicate the original power and magical effect of Fixateur 404 with a truer scent of ambergris.
