Gain, phantom power, polarity and low cut are all set remotely from UAD Console, so nobody has to walk out to the stand.It is a Unison preamp, which means the UAD plug-in has bidirectional control over the analog front end. Emulations of API, Neve, Manley and SSL preamps change the impedance and gain staging of the hardware rather than only processing the converted signal.It works on any Dante audio network, not only with an Apollo. Routing is handled either through Dante Controller directly or inside UAD Console when paired with an Apollo x16D.
