Atance is a project from well-regarded producer Bodegas Mustiguillo. Lively and pure, this Bobal bursts with red cherry, wild strawberry and a dusting of black pepper. It’s medium- bodied, fresh and quietly structured, with bright acidity and fine mineral tension. Gentle oak ageing lends subtle texture without overpowering the fruit. A modern, elegant take on a rustic native grape: vibrant, balanced, and effortlessly drinkable with a savoury twist on the finish. Great value and full of regional character Fermented in stainless steel with indigenous yeasts, the wine matured in large French oak vats for three months. It is cherry red in colour and has a high aromatic intensity with heaps of red fruit. There is quite a bold initial grippiness, but do not be scared, the enveloping tannins smooth out, leaving you with a harmonious finish. Show more
