Description The Aura Large is a 160mm round flush-mounted wall and ceiling light with a white aluminium body and a frosted polycarbonate diffuser. The fitting takes a single GX53 bulb (sold separately) and is rated IP44, making it suitable for bathrooms, covered porches and other areas where occasional water spray or condensation occurs. Designed for low-ceiling rooms and outdoor covered applications, the flush profile projects just 45mm from the wall or ceiling surface, avoiding head clearance issues in hallways, bathrooms under 2.4m ceiling height, and covered outdoor walkways. The GX53 bulb format uses a twist-and-lock bayonet mount rather than screw threads, speeding bulb changes and providing a more secure fit than Edison screw equivalents. The white aluminium body resists corrosion in damp environments and the matt finish avoids strong reflections under daylight. The frosted diffuser spreads light evenly across the room rather than creating a single bright spot, making the Aura suitable as general overhead lighting in bathrooms, WCs, utility rooms and entrance porches. The IP44 rating protects against water splashes from any direction, making it suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 (outside the immediate shower or bath enclosure).
