Rated IP44, the Aura Small is protected against water splashes and can be installed in bathroom zones 2 and 3, hallways, porches and covered outdoor areas. The dimmable GX53 lamp format gives flexibility to set ambient light levels in bathrooms, hallways and utility rooms where bright task lighting is not needed. The flush mount fixes directly to a UK ceiling rose or junction box using a standard two-screw fixing concealed behind the canopy. This means it can be fitted outside the shower enclosure but within 0.6m horizontally of a bath or basin. It is not suitable for zone 0 or 1 (inside or directly above the bath or shower). What bulb does it take? The Aura Small takes a single GX53 bulb up to 11W. GX53 bulbs are sold separately.
