Step 2: Section It Off Clip your hair up and out of the way with our Grip Clips. Start with the bottom layer. Select your heat setting - 180°C/360°F is the default (your last setting will be saved for next time, love that for us). Step 3: Time to Curl Hold the tong with the side that says “This side towards head” facing your head. Take a small one-inch section of hair and place the tool a few inches from the root. Slide the top part of that section (not the ends) into the long groove and into the chamber. First time? No worries. Start with a tiny section at the back to get comfortable and find the right temperature for your hair. Choose your curl direction - clockwise or anti-clockwise - depending on the look you want.
