DOUBLE GOLD MEDAL 2011 SAN FRANCISCO SPIRITS COMPETITION. Modern tequila made for American tastes - sweetly pretty, peachy and delicate, with modest flavors of mint, wet slate and stone fruit. Modest yet clean finish with a charge of graphite. The nose is classic blanco tequila — spicy agave, with some black pepper and a slight lemon bent to it. When the palate arrives it is much sweeter than anticipated, with notes of baked apple, coconut, pineapple, and another squeeze of lemon all coming together with a somewhat dessert-like quality. The finish is quite long and enduring, bringing some of the lighter herbal notes back into focus, melding well with the sweeter elements in the body. Show more
