Inam was born in Karachi, Pakistan, and trained at art schools in London, Istanbul, and Atlanta — three cities whose intensity may explain why his forest paintings feel simultaneou sly northern European and otherworldly. He debuted professionally in 2001 and was launched in the UK in 2009. His style — described as magical expressionism — layers oils to build atmosphere the way a forest builds itself: gradually, in deepening light.
