These elegant boho-style necklaces feature a lacquered cross-section of the ayahuasca vine above a pendant of synthetic green marbled malaquite embedded in a macrame waxed thread n ecklace. Ayahuasca is used by many Amazon shamans in traditional ceremonies. The necklace was made by an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years. The necklace comes in three styles. One style (NK68MA) features an oval stone (3/4" x 1") with two pairs of stone beads above the ayahuasca piece. The second variety (NK67MA) has a cube that is 3/4" on a side. The third version (NK73MA) features a hexagonal wand pendant (1/4 " by 1") below a 1/2" diameter ayahuasca vine piece with two pairs of stone beads. Each necklace has a waxed twine with two knots that allow easy adjustment of the length to fit it over your head and then tighten.
