These elegant boho-style necklaces feature a lacquered cross-section of the ayahuasca vine above a pendant of synthetic turquoise embedded in a macrame waxed thread necklace. Ayahuasca is used by many Amazon shamans in traditional ceremonies. The necklace was made by an expert artisan from Iquitos who has worked with the Center for Amazon Community Ecology for ten years. The necklace comes in three styles. One style (NK68F) features an oval stone that is 3/4" wide and 1 1/4" tall with a pair of stone beads above the ayahuasca piece. The second variety (NK67F) has a syn-turquoise cube that is 3/4" on a side. The third version (NK73F) features a hexagonal pendant (1 1/4 " by 1/4") below a 1/2" diameter ayahuasca vine piece. Each necklace has a waxed twine with two knots that allow easy adjustment of the length to fit it over your head and then tighten.
