Laser cut and CNC bent from mild steel and welded on a jig in-house at Strom you can be sure of quality and fitment. The final version will be zinc plated, not painted black as pictured. Designed specifically for BMW E36 and E46 B48 engine swaps, this mounting solution positions the engine efficiently within the chassis while maintaining compatibility with factory-style components. The kit interfaces directly with OEM E36/E46 subframes and supports factory-style engine mounts, giving you flexibility to run stock rubber mounts for street-driven builds or solid/poly mounts for track and race applications. Any engine mount or bushing designed for an E46 with M54 or S54 compatibility will work with this setup. On the Garagistic Grip-B48 E36 project car, Garagistic polyurethane mounts were successfully used during the conversion.
