Age worthy Barbera d'Asti from vines as much as 90-years-old, with an intense ruby colour that acquires light garnet undertones with ageing. Pleasantly full and harmonious flavour. Perfect with lighter meat dishes and great for picnics and barbecues. Winemaker: Clementina Cossetti Varieties: 100% Barbera Appellation: Piedmont, Italy Alcohol: 14.5% Suitable for vegetarians and vegans Fermentation in steel vats at a temperature of 28-30°. It is aged for at least one year in 50hl oak barrels and partly in second use barriques. Final ageing in the bottle for 6 months before it is released.
