Here's another hand made guitar by David Benavides. Part of his deluxe series the guitar features a gorgeous vintage burst finish and a dark tortoise celluloid headstock veneer. Taking inspiration from both Martin and Gibson guitars, this 12th fret 00 is the best of both worlds, making it a total one off. Hot hide glue is used on the braces, a practice that most other builders shy away from but one that drastically alters the tone of the instrument. Deluxe appointments include gold Evo fret wire and Waverly tuners as well as unbleached bone for the nut and saddle. Well balanced and smooth, words we've come to associate with any Benavides build and this is no different. A great little folk machine.
