Trust Kimblehook Sweet Iron EllipticalThe Kimblehook is a variation of the Kimblewick bit that provides stronger leverage. Can be used with one or two reins. The lower the rein is attached, the stronger the leverage and bit action. The mouthpiece is made of the characteristic blue Sweet Iron. When it comes in contact with moisture, Sweet Iron develops a sweet-tasting surface rust that naturally stimulates salivation and improves the horse’s acceptance of the bit. Increased foaming encourages a softer connection and better contact. Suitable for all types of horses. Features a double-jointed elliptical link with two hinges, which provides slightly more pressure on the tongue and tongue center than a single-jointed bit. Anatomically shaped for a comfortable, stable position in the horse’s mouth. Note: When not in use, a thin orange-brown rust layer may form on the mouthpiece.
