Trust Kimblehook Sweet Iron Jointed (Single-Jointed)The Kimblehook is a variation of the Kimblewick bit that provides stronger leverage. Can be used with one or two reins. The lower the rein is attached, the stronger the leverage and bit action. The mouthpiece is made of the characteristic blue Sweet Iron. When in contact with moisture, Sweet Iron develops a sweet-tasting surface rust that naturally stimulates salivation and improves the horse’s acceptance of the bit. This also encourages more foaming, creating a softer connection and better contact. Features a single-jointed mouthpiece with one hinge, applying only light pressure on the tongue. Acts mainly on the bars and edges of the tongue, making it suitable for horses sensitive to tongue pressure. Sweet Iron bits are suitable for all types of horses.
