CAREHand wash or wipe over with warm water and detergent, then rinse or wipe over your timber board with clean waterLet it air-dry completely, or towel dry it evenly on both sides before putting it away.NEVER put your boards in the dishwasher.Exposing wooden boards to heat, even direct sunlight for long periods, can cause warping or cracking.NEVER soak your boards in water as this can cause warping or cracking.NEVER bleach your board at this destroys the natural oil and properties in the timber. MAINTENANCEWhen your board starts to look dull or dry, it's time to oil your board. Generally, it is good to do every three to six months depending on how often it’s used. We use and recommend Gilly's citrus based Chopping Board Oil. Put a tablespoon spoon or two of oil depending on the size of the board, then use a dry cloth or paper towel to wipe it over the board. Let it sit and soak into the wood for about 20 minutes. Then, wipe over with a dry cloth.
